Junque 101 Retreat & Studio

This gorgeous 131 yr. old modern craftsman home is located in a cozy historic downtown Olathe neighborhood. The house is great for group getaways, reunions, wedding parties or birthday celebrations, crafting groups or business gatherings. A full kitchen, large dining room, 2 large gathering rooms, and 4 big bedrooms upstairs provide a perfect space for hosting a group of your loved ones. There is bed space for 14 people (2 in queen beds) plus couches for 3 and room for blowup mattresses! An expansive art studio fills the basement & we'd love to host your art retreat, quilting or scrapbooking groups, or anyone that would love to be in our artsy space!

Art Retreats 

We will customize your retreat to your group' needs. Want to paint? craft? build? scrapbook? quilt? design jewelry? journal? paint barware? ....the sky is the limit! We do 1 hour classes and can build a one to three day retreat for your group. HeART Cave:

The heART CAVE is a cozy, bohemian inspired art studio in the basement of Junque 101. We hold art adventure classes that involve painting, collage, mixed-media, embroidery, jewelry making, embellishment, wood art, stamping, sewing, and a whole bunch more. We have tables & comfy chairs, We have cold & hot beverages for kids/adults, snacks, a little lounge area for dreaming & journaling, We have music & candles & happy stuff scattered around. We have fabulous artsy fartsy teachers who are encouraging and loving. ALL of our classes/events require you to have ZERO art talent, so don't bother with the "I'm not creative/I can't draw/I can't paint" stuff. It just doesn't fly. Everyone can create and play with materials and make fabulous stuff! See our class schedule under CLASSES on our Home Page. We can help you create your own art adventure for your kids or your adult crew. Or rent out our cave for your scrapbooking, quilting, or art group if you have your own materials and just need a space.
